Each month, Karina brings a Yoga and Clay event with a specific piece you can create.

This month is a 1 part workshop where you’ll take a block of clay and create an incense holder or candle burner. During this event, you will use texture and underglazes to add some decorative element to your pieces. All your creations will then be taken away for firing, clear glazed and fired again. Once the whole process is finalized, they’ll then be ready to collect 3-4 weeks after this workshop date. At the end, you’ll have created a beautiful incense holder or candle holder you can treasure forever.

These Yoga and Clay-Play workshops are your opportunity to have some fun and unleash your creativity. There is no better way to get out of your mind than to focus on the creation of something unique and fun. This will be a hands-on nature experience playing with clay- the ultimate adult playdough.

This workshop is suitable for an individual wanting more mindfulness moments, families wanting to connect, friends wanting to share a unique time together and even couples for a date-day option like no other. Spending time to first nurture yourself through yoga, stepping away from the “doing” and the stresses of the week and connecting into your creativity and imagination, enjoying this time in nature and this time to simply just be.

Bonus is: you’ll create something that becomes a keepsake of the time spent. The firing process also makes it food safe and dishwasher safe, creating a piece you can use every day.

This experience will include:
- Nature meditation to connect in- leaving the world behind for a little while and stealing this delightful morning to yourself
- A 60-minute yoga practice aimed at all levels, all yoga abilities
- 90-minute clay-play class
- Drinks, nibbles, quality conversations and good times to be had all around
- All clay equipment and tools provided
- Double firing of your clay pieces
- Clear glaze to give them a glossy finish
